Description: The Hotel Riu Palace Tikida Agadir (All inclusive) is located in an excellent place of Agadir, Morocco. It is just separated from the beach by the promenade and its location make that it is the perfect option to enjoy the colored exoticism of Morocco, the beaches and the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Pros: A beautiful and modern hotel at a reasonable price
Cons: Not a lot!

We were a party of two couples on a Thomson Platinum package holiday, staying two weeks from Monday 11 March 2013 and departing London Gatwick. On arrival at the hotel, it was noted that the whole coach was resident at this hotel. Unfortunately it was a little chaotic and I think some management experience gained from say the Riu Tequila would have been more than beneficial in crowd management. In my partiesí opinion, the Riu Palace Tikida Agadir is a modern grand hotel and has an impact on arrival. The building and layout are faultless and coupled with beautifully maintained gardens made our stay very enjoyable indeed. The hotel is located on the beach with long and beautiful easy walks either side of the beachfront exit. It was also a very short walk into town if shopping takes your fancy. One of the two outside swimming pools was heated and very comfortable compared to the other which Iím sure would only be used in the height of summer. The hotel manager and his deputy we constantly seen either checking or talking with the guests to make sure their stay was up to expectation. In summery a fantastic hotel and yes we will be defiantly going back. The only very, very minor negative comments are the constant wind from the Atlantic Ocean can be a little annoying at times and we felt the food quality, such as meat joints, could be improved on. In context though, one of the best Riuís for a very good price. If you do visit, ask management if you can visit the Riu Tikida Dunas, the ClubHotel a short walk away. We stayed there back in 2007 and again thought it was a fantastic hotel for quality, food, location and of course price. The Moroccan restaurant there is a buffet and we all thought, fantastic!
