Electric outlet Adapters

I will be staying at Riu Naiboa for two weeks in May. I am traveling from the United States and I understand that I will need some sort of round adapter in order to use my hairdryer, iPod charger, etc. Can someone tell me exactly what kind of adapter I need Any other tips or information that you could provide would be appreciated also

Thank you for the link, that did help, but I'm still wondering if the outlets in the DR are 3 prong like most of them here in the US or do I need to make sure to bring a power strip with only 2 prongs

I just answered your same question on the linked thread. Check the equipment you're taking, if they're polarized plugs or three prongs you'll need a cheat strip. If they're two pronged non-polarized (both the same size) you'll be fine.
