Electric outlet Adapters

I will be staying at Riu Naiboa for two weeks in May. I am traveling from the United States and I understand that I will need some sort of round adapter in order to use my hairdryer, iPod charger, etc. Can someone tell me exactly what kind of adapter I need Any other tips or information that you could provide would be appreciated also _________________

Thank you for the link, that did help, but I'm still wondering if the outlets in the DR are 3 prong like most of them here in the US or do I need to make sure to bring a power strip with only 2 prongs _________________

I just answered your same question on the linked thread. Check the equipment you're taking, if they're polarized plugs or three prongs you'll need a cheat strip. If they're two pronged non-polarized (both the same size) you'll be fine. _________________ Riu Palace Mexico - Dec '03, '04, '05, '06, '07, '08, '09 and booked '10
