The Riu Palace
Mexico received the award for the best long-haul
establishment
The British tour operator JMC has awarded prizes to 7 establishments in
the RIU Hotels & Resorts chain (www.riu.com) located in the
Caribbean as a result of the high customer satisfaction rates they have
achieved.
In the "best long-haul establishment" category, the winning
hotel was the Riu Palace Mexico,
in Playa del Carmen, in the Mexican Caribbean.
In the "highly commended all inclusive long-haul" category the
ClubHotel Riu Mambo
and the
Riu Merengue in Puerto
Plata (Dominican Republic), the Riu
Tropical Bay
in Negril (Jamaica), the
Riu
Yucatan and the ClubHotel Riu
Tequila
in Playa del Carmen (Mexico) and the
Riu
Turquesa
in Varadero (Cuba) all received awards.
These awards were made public on the occasion of the CHA international
tourism fair held in the Mexican city of Cancun.
