year" in Switzerland |

The
travel agents awarded RIU last
night with the Golden Travel Star for the
second consecutive year
The Swiss travel agents bestowed RIU last night with the Golden
Travel Star
award for "Best hotel chain of the year".
The announcement of the best ranked companies, voted by the
travel agents,
was made public during a very busy evening at the Hotel Palace
in Montreux
with the presence of the entire Swiss travel industry.
A large ovation filled the room when the public announcement was
made and
the name RIU was pronounced. The representatives of the Swiss
Travel
industry immediately expressed their approval and compliments to
the
Spanish chain, that in the previous edition (2002) had already
obtained the
Golden Travel Star and in the precedent year (2001) the Silver
award.
This accolade, promoted by the travel magazine "Travel
Inside", is highly
praised in Switzerland, one of the most demanding countries in
the world
concerning quality service level.

countries and 15,000
employees. The award obtained last night consolidates the
company as one
of the most awarded hotel chains in the world. |
