TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS: An airport shuttle service runs between the main entrances to the terminals every ten minutes.

INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS: An information booth is located at the main entrance to Terminal 2.

AIRPORT FACILITIES: Money and communications: ATMs are located throughout the terminal buildings and there is a bureau de change in both terminal buildings. Post boxes are located at Terminal 1 in the FBO building and in Terminal 2 by the main entrance. Eating and drinking: The airport has a variety of fast-food outlets and restaurants. One restaurant is open 24 hours. Shopping: There are a variety of gift shops at the airport. Some shops are open 24 hours. Opening hours for all facilities in Terminal 1 depend on flight operations; in Terminal 2, opening hours are generally 0900-2100.

DISABLED FACILITIES: There are ramps at the airport where necessary and wheelchairs are available upon request. Disabled toilets are currently being installed.

CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS FACILITIES: Meeting areas can be booked at the FBO building next to the Terminal 1 building (tel: 9 886 0183; fax: 9 886 0189). The FBO building offers a lounge area, VIP room with a large table for meetings, Internet access and rental car, limousine and hotel booking services.

CAR HIRE: Executive, Hertz, Thrifty, Alamo, Budget, Avis and National are all represented.

CAR PARKING: Two car parks are available at Terminal 2 and one at Terminal 1; all three are open 24 hours a day. Car parks are patrolled by a security service.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Take Carretera (highway) Cancún–Chetumal until the Km 22 exit, and follow signs for the airport.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Road: Taxi: An official taxi company provides individual and group services from the airport. Taxis can be paid for at the airport just after the Arrivals hall. Bus: There is no bus service from the airport.
